Villa del Chianti

Halfway between Florence and Siena, among the verdant hills and the vineyards of Tuscany – where the sound of nature pervades over silence and privacy – stands the resort “Villa del Chianti”. Here it is still possible to experience the life in the countryside of times gone by

Villa del Chianti, a hundred year old farmhouse overlooking the hills of Tuscany, which has been owned by the Fusi family for many years. It is situated in an oasis of green amidst centuries-old olive trees, where the air is filled with the fragrance of cypress trees and wild herbs.

The luxury villa has recently been elegantly renovated to reflect the taste and style of the owners who, whilst providing the building with every comfort, have chosen to preserve its original structure with open beam ceilings, brick arches and terracotta floors, in accordance with the architectural tradition of the Chianti district. Villa can host groups from 12 to 20 people, however, the property is always exclusively rented out to a single group.

For groups of 16 people (8 bedrooms) our guests will have access to the following rooms: il Fattore, la Massaia, il Sensale, il Garzone, il Contadino, il Treccone, il Guardia and la Casetta.

For groups of 20 people our guests will have access to the following rooms: il Fattore, la Massaia, il Sensale, il Garzone, il Contadino, il Treccone, il Guardia and la Casetta, as well as two bedrooms with a shared bathroom in the Poggiarello area. The price that you seen is for 8 bedrooms. If you are more guest please ask me about new price for 20 people.

Ground Floor:

A large paved area, once the farmyard, leads into a big, characteristic terracotta room with stone walls, open beams and arches that offers a truly unique relaxing atmosphere thanks to the cheerful crackling of the fire in the typical Tuscan fireplace. This floor also contains the main Hall with a typical Tuscan fireplace, the Suite La Casetta, and the main Kitchen at Guests disposal.

The Suite la Casetta: The Suite la Casetta is composed from a lovely living room with fireplace and sofa, little kitchen and double bedroom with private bathroom with shower. The Suite has Air Conditioning and mosquito net.

The kitchen: The main Kitchen is equipped with all the necessary to cook for 20 people, it is furnished with oven, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine, all at guest disposal.

First Floor and bedrooms: On the Villa First Floor are located seven double bedrooms all with en suite bathroom. The First floor also has a large lounge room with a fireplace and comfortable sofas for your unforgettable relaxing moments.

TV Room: A room entirely designed to relax, enjoy and dream. A creative place featuring a large tv screen, board games, comfortable couches and beautiful wallpaper.

The lower floor is where the “Calidarium” is located. It consists of an heated Jacuzzi, sauna, automatic Shiatsu massage bed, gym, 2 showers and a changing room.

The wellness center is available exclusively to our guests. Massages and beauty treatments are available on request.

Poggiarello Cottage.
124 M2: This is an independent apartment adjoining the villa. It was originally the barn and is made up of a lounge room with fireplace,divans and tv.a kitchen with stove, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher, double bedroom; twin bedroom; bathroom with shower and bathtub and Satellite T.V. The cottage has a large loggia and private garden with direct access to the swimming pool. The dependence is only rented together with the main villa and not separately.. This apartment has been restored according to rural architecture of the surrounding buildings …..hand painted tiles in the bathrooms, pastel colours on the walls and antique furniture in the rooms. Elegant and comfortable spaces guaranteeing a relaxing atmosphere in a Tuscan country villa. The cottage is open only for up to twenty guests.

Pool: Our Swimming Pool with its dedicated entrance and waterfall onto the valley below is particularly beautiful.

The pool features a big, mosaic clad whirlpool, and gentle cascades. The entire complex harmonizes perfectly with one of the most scenic landscapes in the Chianti valley, offering the double pleasure of a refreshing dip and a breathtaking view.

Villa il Ronco

In this uncontaminated and tranquil spot you can spend unforgetable moments of relax which will make your stay in Italy a unique and original experience, in perfect Tuscan style. For those who are searching for the real spirit and essence of Tuscany and who appreciate the antique flavour of a special refuge surrounded by nature; for those needing a centralized base from which to visit the natural and artistic beauties of the region.

The pool, 6x12mt. and depth of 1.40mt., is exclusive to the guests of Villa. It is situated on a natural terrace a couple of metres below the villa level and has a wide view of the valley below.
It is an infinity pool with hydromassage. Under the pool there is a changing room with shower and WC.

The night lighting of the pool and its surroundings is particularly suggestive.

The cleaning system of the pool insures utmost hygene and eliminates any possible inconvenience caused by the chloride. The swimming pool has an automatic system for maintaining the correct values of the PH and of the chlorine.

The pool is open from mid April to mid October (under normal climatic conditions).

Around the pool there is a large sunbathing area with umbrellas, chairs, tables and sunbeds. Further down to the right of the pool there is another relaxation area with a gazebo and chairs.

There is also a childrens’ corner.

Villa il Ronco is a typical historical Tuscan villa with exclusive swimming pool. This independent villa, built in the second half of the 18th century, is located on the last western slopes of Mount Albano, approximately 250mt. above sea level. Originally it was composed of two farm houses which have been joined together (maintaining however a total independence if required during the Winter season).

The external walls are covered with typical local stone as are almost all the surrounding houses, conserving the original aspect of the building, when it was constructed…

The villa looks out over typical Tuscan countryside – hills and olive groves, woods of chestnut and oak trees – all immersed in an oasis of silence.

For almost 50 years the owners have cultivated their passion for antiques and have furnished the villa with pieces acquired from antique dealers, auction sales or antique fairs. Some of the more particular pieces are the beautiful doors of the walk-in wardrobes in two of the bedrooms, the wooden 17th century plaque from a Florentine convent above the door of one of lounge room. Two of the bedrooms have Empire wardrobes and chests of drawers.

The owners’ taste is eclectic and includes some pieces of Liberty period furniture, for example, the French mirror in the green bathroom and the Sicilian chest of drawers in the yellow bedroom. There is a late Empire sideboard in another of the loungerooms. There are many antique prints on the walls, including geographical maps of various countries, and in some of the bedrooms and lounge rooms there are chests of the 16th and 17^th century. Another remarkable piece is the billiard table, dating back to the early nineteen hundreds – in perfect condition. Many other pieces, more or less important, have all been chosen in the spirit of tracing our roots back to the past. Also in the garden one can find stone pieces, as well as old terrracotta Tuscan vases.

Only for Winter Villa is perfectly dividable into two separate houses with separate services and comforts outside and inside. In fact in the beginning, in the late XVIII century, two families used to live there. The 2 houses are totally indipendent because: Outside they have different automatic entrance gates and parking areas. The garden is all open but each part of the Villa looks onto its own area.
Inside an iron door can separate the 2 houses. Each house has its own equipped kitchen, washing machine, dish washing machine, satellite TV etc.

ACCESSIBILITY: parking – is exclusive to the villa inside the garden and is for up to 5 cars. (access to the property is not a problem, as the road is asphalted), public transport (buses and taxis) are down in Monsummano (3 km) and the train station is in Montecatini (8 km), no traffic noise., small dogs are allowed.

Villa is in an area called the Valdinevole, as yet not ruined by mass tourism, and presenting all the characteristic natural and artistic aspects of the Tuscan countryside.

The villa is most strategically placed: away from the chaos of the cities but with easy access to Tuscan “musts”. In fact, 95% of the symbolic Tuscan landmarks can be reached within an hour and a half by car.

Montecatini Terme (5km.) 50 mins. to Pisa and 50 mins. to Florence by train. Monsummano Terme (2km.) is the nearest town and has 20.000 inhabitants and all necessary facilities and shops etc.

Within a range of 15/20 mins. by car there are many places of interest to visit – the Giusti Grottos with their hot thermal baths, One of the most fsmous in Italy, the Monsummano quarries, the Pistoia hills and mountains (skiing in the Winter), the Svizzera Pesciatina, innumerable Romanic churches, the Fucecchio swamplands (of great interest for the local flora and fauna) and many small tipical Tuscan villages, like Montevettolini, Larciano, Lamporecchio, Vinci (where Leonardo was born), Montecatini Alto, Montecarlo etc).

Villa Toscana

Villa Toscana is a typical historical Tuscan villa with exclusive swimming pool. Some of the more particular pieces are the beautiful doors in each room. Particularly the two doors in the central lounge and the one of the green bedroom on ground floor. All of 17th cent.

The kitchen has a double marble sink, 250 years old and a collection of 12 ceramic tiles with zodiac symbols of the beginning of last century, over the stove.Worth notice is a big 17th cent chestnut plaque over the wide stairs down into the big lounge/dining room. In this spacious room there is a magnificient set of 10 chestnut Florentine chairs of the 17 th cent and a spectacular and remarkable stone fire place from the Northern part of Italy, which dates back to the 16th cent. In the master bedroom a double painted 18th cent. door from a noble palace in Naples and a 17th cent. chest. In the red bedroom a very fine Louis XV wardrobe. There are many antique prints on the walls from different parts of Italy (Venice, Rome, Naples etc). Objects d’art can be seen throughout the villa. All the rooms have Persian carpets. Many other pieces, more or less important, have all been chosen in the spirit of tracing our roots back to the past. Also in the garden one can find stone pieces, as well as old terracotta Tuscan vases.

Ground floor: Large lounge-dining room which seats up to 14 people and has a large 15th century fireplace with lounges and armchairs. There is also a lovely view of the garden and pool area as well as views looking up to the old town (the original town) of Monsummano Alto. Another sitting come lounge room which leads to the big Tuscan kitchen with its own fireplace and antique-style oven. On this floor there is a bathroom decorated with an antique basin and floor but with modern design shower etc. There is also a double bedroom which gives onto a covered verandah with table and chairs(actually church pews) for eating overlooking the pool and hillside towns.

Second floor: They are furnished with antique furniture, paintings and Persian carpets. From the entrance there is a stone staircase leading to the bedrooms It has a beautiful wrought iron 17thC bannister. On the floor of the middle and top landings of the staricase there are cotto tiles dipicting the Florentine lily. On the ceiling there are cotto rosettes painted in imitation bronze. One main bedroom (30 sq.mtrs.) with its own bathroom with Turkishbath/shower and a lovely view up to Monsummano Alto which is lit up at night. Another bedroom which is a little smaller and has a view over the valley, olive groves, woods and pool. It shares a bathroom (with a Jacuzzi bath and shower with light and aroma therapy.)with the third bedroom which has two single beds which, on rerquest, can be put together to form a double bed. This also has a pidgeon hole window which looks up to Monsummano Alto (Alto means “on high”). All the upstairs bedrooms have antique cotto floors and beams, which have been restored with taste and care by the owners.

La Torre sul mare

La Torre sul mare is a totally unique villa, in a magical position overlooking the clear blue sea of the Maremma. Originally an ancient watch tower, the villa has been fully restored and the spectacular panoramas can be enjoyed from its terraces and from the swimming pool below. A walkway leads down to the sea shore where there is a platform rock beach shared with another family villa.

This wonderful property is in such a romantically beautiful position that a James Bond movie was filmed here. The views of the Tuscan coastline are absolutely superb, as is the scenery all around, with the clear blue sea and azure skies contrasting perfectly with lush green countryside, and lovely harbours, and fishing villages dotting the landscape.
A private road leads to the property, once you have recovered from the spectacular views overlooking all the Argentario, Giglio & Montecristo Island, you can enjoy the interior of the villa.

On entering on the right hand side there is a little dining room with fireplace, table and chairs from which you access two of the villas lovely double bedrooms with their bathroom and one of these bedrooms is with ensuite bathroom. On the left of the entrance corridor there is a fully equipped kitchen and further double bedroom also with ensuite bathroom.
From the corridor steps lead to the first floor of the villa where there is a luminous lounge with gorgeous views and air conditioning. At one end is a sitting area with settees, armchairs, satellite television, Dvd player and fireplace and at the other a dining table and chairs, as well as a little kitchenette. This lovely room opens onto a terrace furnished with table and chairs for dining al fresco and sunloungers, an absolutely spectacular spot for relaxing or dining al fresco whilst enjoying the magnificent sea views stretching as far as to admire the Tuscan islands of Giglio and Montecristo on the horizon.
In another wing of the villa reached via a little staircase from the small ground floor dining area, is the ancient watchtower where there is a characteristic double bedroom with fireplace and on the level above reached by wooden stairs a dressing area and a bathroom with shower. From here there is access to a little terrace at the top of the tower
Close to the main villa is a lovely annex (guest house) which is fully air conditioned and has a sitting room and two further double bedrooms each with their ensuite bathroom with shower.

Beautiful and comfortable open-loft with with garden of 70 mq for 2+2 people.
The apartment is walking distance from Santa Maria Novella station and few minutes from the main areas of interest in Florence.
Located on the ground floor of a small apartment building, Scented Flower apartment opens in a cute garden, located in a back. Bright and luminous refuge away from the city noise.
Entering, there is a small corridor that open to a corner area where you can find a charming antique armoire, a desk and chair.

Gaze at spectacular views of Ravello, the coastline and the mountains from this tri-level villa perched at the end of a promontory in a beautiful medieval hamlet. The exquisitely landscaped grounds are surrounded by old stone walls, which give the property the feeling of a gracious mini-estate. Enjoy a swim high above the crystal blue coastline or walk one of the many mountain trails. The nearby paths lead to seldom-visited hamlets, small chapels
and medieval ruins with stunning views over the coast and the valleys below.
Location Description
The villa is a short walk from the heart of Scala, a medieval hilltop village with coffee bars, restaurants, open-air cafes, a grocery shop and the stop for the SITA bus that goes from Scala to Ravello, Amalfi and other coastal destinations. The oldest town on the Amalfi Coast, Scala runs along Dragon Valley, right above Amalfi and adjacent to Ravello. The walking routes to Scala and Ravello are shared with cars but can still be navigated on foot.
From the quay of Amalfi, there are ferries and hydrofoils to the other villages along the coast as well as to the Islands of Capri and Ischia, and to Sorrento and Naples. Boats rentals are available for those who wish to explore the surrounding coastline, and visit the many small grottoes.
Please Note: While the Amalfi Coast is beautiful and charming, it is also steep, with many uphill and downhill stairs and walkways. In general, it is an area that is not kind to those of us with knee or mobility issues. This should be considered before booking a property in this area

Centuries-old stairways lead 100 steps down to the villa from the street level. The terrace (200 m2) and gardens (4000 m2) offer breathtaking views of Ravello and the Amalfi Coast. The garden is shaded by a stone porch that is furnished with two couches, a coffee table and several armchairs. The terrace is equipped with two shaded dining areas with tables for 4, sun umbrellas, lounge chairs, stone oven, barbecue and a refrigerator. There is a swimming pool (5 m. x 10 m. long, 2.5 m. deep., open May through September) surrounded by 7 sun loungers and an external shower. The swimming pool is not heated. There is also a laundry room with a washing machine and ironing facilities. A car is recommended. Parking can be found along public roads, or we can pre- book a parking space in a private car park at the extra cost of Euro 20,00 per day.Interior Description (230 m2)

Each floor of the villa can be reached either by external stairs or by an internal spiral staircase.
Ground Floor: There is a large living room with air conditioning and heating, two sofas, two armchairs, a working wood fireplace, satellite TV and a CD player. The room includes a dining area with a dining table that seats 6 and expands to fit 18. From the living room, two French doors lead to the garden and the main terrace. The kitchen, which has air conditioning and heating, is equipped with a four hobs gas cooker, electric oven, large refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, microwave, American-style coffee maker and electric kettle. From the kitchen, another set of French doors leads to the main terrace.
First Floor: A wooden staircase with 9 steps leads to the first floor, which has two bedrooms. Each bedroom has an air conditioning/heating unit, a queen-size bed (160 cm) and an ensuite bathroom with a fully enclosed shower, basin, toilet and hairdryer.
Second Floor: A spiral staircase with 14 steps leads to the second floor. There are two bedrooms, each with an air conditioning/heating unit, a queen-size bed (160 cm) and an en-suite bathroom each with a fully enclosed shower, basin, toilet and hairdryer.
Annex: The annex is accessed from the main terrace, along an exterior staircase with 15 steps. It has one bedroom with an air conditioning/heating unit, a standard double bed (140cm) that is comfortable for one and cozy for two, a single sofa bed and ensuite bathroom with fully enclosed shower, basin, toilet and hairdryer.

Villa Sirena (The Mermaid s Home) is an elegant residence restructured in 2013. It is situated in one of the most panoramic areas of the Amalfi Coast. The villa is in Castiglione a Ravello between the two most beautiful and well known historical centres of the Amalfi Coast, Amalfi and Ravello. It is in an excellent position: only a ten minute walk from the beach and easy access from the main road which leads directly to a garage and a drive with space for parking.

Casa al mare

Casa al Mare is a very panoramic accommodation facing the beach of Salicerchie. It is located in the homonymous village just a few steps away from the famous Norman Tower of Maiori. The property is set in the rock and placed next to an ancient lemon grove whose aromas inebriate the Villa’s guests as well as the bathers while enjoying the splendid Beach of Salicerchie, which is just few steps (only 150) down below, and is directly connected to the Villa by one of the typical stone-made stairs of the Amalfi Coast.

The beach is equipped with a beach club but a free area is also available. Swimming from the bay it is possible to reach some of the most spectacular caves of the coast including the famous sulfur spring cave, whose beneficial and healing waters can be easily drawn by visitors.

The horseshoe structure of the valley offers a spectacle that alternates rocks and agricultural terraces which paint themselves orange at the sunset, in an enchanted peace, secluded from the tourist clamor of the nearby Maiori. The village of Salicerche is just ten minutes walking from Maiori and it is served by an excellent bus and taxi service. The villa has also an agreement with a nearby car park that offers a free shuttle service. Spectacular places like Amalfi and Positano can be reached From Maiori in a very short time.

The villa, which is easily accessible by a characteristic stone stair of only 15 steps, consists of two independent units communicating via an internal door and on request a fully equipped outbuilding is also available.

The first unit “Vento in poppa”, gives you the actual feeling of being on board of a sinuous sailing ship. The construction skirts the rock following its curvatures and joints, the large central balcony gives you the feeling of being suspended over the sea, the rooms follows one another offering glimpses of an infinite horizon from the luminous windows. The house offers two double bedrooms where it possible to add two single beds more and a double sofa bed located in the vast living room, two bathrooms, one with a bath tub and the other one with a shower, and a practical central kitchen.

The Villa also offers a semi-covered 80 sqm terrace which leads to the access of the lemon house. The terrace is equipped with an outdoor kitchen, a solarium, and a shower. The Villa is Ideal for an holiday with friends but it also is also perfect to suit the needs of a family who wants to enjoy the dream of a summer in Amalfi. The “La Cambusa dependence” is a delightful two-roomed apartment which is accessed through a short path shaded by the typical pergolas of the Amalfi Coast. The dependence is set on two levels connected by an internal drop and by the external lime staircase. From the wide terrace just outside the kitchen it is possible to reach the beach by a private staircase that pass through the lemon grove. The farmhouse dates back to the eighteenth century , with a statement later (1870 ) that you can read on a stone facade . The intention to remain as faithful as possible to the tradition is demonstrated by the use of chestnut wood for the window frames and the rafters and the typical Tuscan bricks for flooring.
Tradition but also respect for the environment : the roof is insulated , the structure is earthquake resistant , all the windows are double and the heating of the apartments on the ground floor is a floor to avoid heat loss. The owner Giovanni, purchased the estate in 1991 upon his return to Italy after having long lived in Germany , where he owned a restaurant in Monaco of Bavaria.
