Il Borgo, built in stone according to ancient Tuscan tradition, stands out above the surrounding valley on a spot from which one can admire long rows of olive groves and hazelnut trees, as well as many other species of trees and shrubs in the area. The lay-out of the villa complex recalls that of a small ancient hamlet complete with panoramic views, romantically framed corners, curious passageways and the solidity of a structure providing a sense of strength and protection. Encircling the villa is a well-groomed garden of herbs and flowers, spreading slowly out towards the woods and mingling with the natural vegetation covering the surrounding landscape.
This location imparts peace, serenity and relaxation to all of those arriving here; it is, in fact, the perfect spot for a vacation in contact with nature without ever sacrificing modern comforts.The large swimming pool (6m x 12m x 1.40m) lets guests enjoy lovely summer days refreshing themselves in its waters and taking in the splendid scenery. The patio, cool and ventilated, is the ideal place for enjoying a meal or simply sipping a glass of wine at sunset. The Sauna located inside the villa annex is designed with wooden-beamed ceilings and wide windows for enjoying the panorama; it offers just another spot for private relaxation or romantic moments.
ACCOMMODATION:
The furnishings give the house the personal character of a” family home”. The rooms are full of antique “cotto” floors, beams in the ceiling, a large fireplace, antique furniture and modern design pieces. Guests can re-discover the slow rithm of the past and the pleasure of finding themselves in an intimate and romantic atmosphere, surrounded by warmth and comfort- an ideal frame for delightul relax and unforgettable privacy. The villa is composed of 9 double bedrooms with bathrooms, all with 22” Full HD TV, for a total of 18 guests-plus 2 (two of the bedrooms are triple and 7 of the remaining double beds can be converted it two singles as needed). Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower. There is wi-fi connection in the whole house. There is also a lounge room with fireplace , 46” Full HD TV, a dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. The whole structure is equipped with a floor cooling or heating system.
The main villa consists of the ground floor, the mezzanine floor, and the first floor. The villa is equipped with a wood oven. The garden offers a beautiful swimming pool . Near the pool there is a gazebo, which is equipped with outdoor lounge, behind which there is an outdoor table with chairs covered by a sail, in order to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner outside, maybe using BBQ or brick oven.
Ground Floor:
The main hall has a fire place, a central arch and beamed ceiling. There is also a dining room for 20 people and a fully equipped kitchen.
Mezzanine floor:
It has a laundry and 2 double bedrooms (one of which has access to the outside of the villa) with private bathroom with shower and Sat TV.
First Floor:
5 double bedrooms with bathrooms with shower and Sat TV, and 2 of these bedrooms are “suites” (canopy, bed with another additional bed). 2 of the rooms have private access to the garden. Some of them can be transformed into bedroom with two single beds on request.
Annex:
Next to the main villa, an annex has two double bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom and Sat TV-

We stayed at this beautiful Villa early September 2022. We were attending my son’s wedding and needed a place for family to enjoy for a week. The villa did not disappoint – it was not only beautifully decorated but extremely comfortable. The bedrooms were all a good size with adjoining bathrooms .. the kitchen was fully equipment and functional, the lounge areas were big enough for all of us and very welcoming. Cristina was so helpful, she was a text away, quickly responded to any needs we required (which were mostly looking for suggestions on restaurants etc). Patrizia and her daughter put together an amazing breakfast for 25 – so much food and a stunning display! Giacomo and team from Weekhomes were also so helpful in finding us this perfect gem. Thank you to all. I can’t forget to mention the location and grounds of the property – it was perfect. The villa is remote and private but minutes away from fantastic restaurants and close to Arezzo and Sienna .. short drive into Bucine. The property – the pool (although a tad cold – but you can ask to have it heated) was so relaxing and came with an absolute stunning view. We left and went on to the Amalfi – i have to admit I missed the Villa and Tuscany. Villa Borgo will always hold such wonderful memories for me and my family. A magical stay!!
